So back when we were in Kansas City, we kept hearing about this antique mall that has the good stuff – not the antique-y antique stuff but the funky, one-of-a-kind, vintage kind of stuff. You know the difference, right? Less historical farm-house, more “oh this is just some things that I’ve collected from all the fascinating places I’ve been in my well-traveled and interesting life” stuff.
It made for some good shopping.
We didn’t buy anything – to us, malls like this are good for research (to see what this stuff sells for) but we do our shopping closer to home. Usually. Anyway it was by far the most “curated’ antique mall I’ve been through as far as being full of stuff I like to see. So that was a fun way to spend a couple of hours on a rainy day. And we didn’t even make it up to the third floor.
