Good morning! You’re not going to believe the photos we’ve got lined up for today. They’re from a black cat audition in Hollywood, 1961. Apparently in the 60’s cats were fine with being put on leashes, hanging out with lots of other cats they didn’t know, being around strangers, and doing things on command. Oh, and being held for what looks like extended periods of time. Outdoors. Yes, it’s definitely time for a little piece of “cattle call” inspiration.
I can’t get over how many people brought their cats out to stand in audition lines!
Hilarious, right? Our cat would have hated that. But I bet we would’ve hated it even more. What were those people thinking?!
Moving on, I can’t wait for you to see this video. It has been all over the web this week with over 4.5 million views, which makes perfect sense once you see it.
I have to admit that I’m glad it wasn’t me in the canoe, but what a sight! Feel free to watch it again, I’ll wait..
And since we’re doing videos now, we may as well take a look at Josh’s pick of the week:
Well, Friends, that’s our show for today. Feel free to sit back, sip your coffee, & blend these stories together in your head..
*ladies wearing pearls and pencil skirts surfing while black cats & starlings battle it out* Nevermind, bad idea.
Happy Weekend, Friends! We’re off to Ihop with Grandma.
