Thanks for all of the love & comfort you’ve given after our sad goodbye.. But today I have happy happy news to share!

Guess where we were last night?

She did it!! Last night was Jess’s graduation from Western Michigan University with her Master’s degree in social work.

Three long years of hard work – on top of her full time job, she had classes in the evenings, internships outside of work hours, and all of the workload that classes require. Oh, and she’s got a husband with cystic fibrosis and a two-year-old son who has a bit of a hard time posing for photos..

Jess – it hasn’t been easy but you stuck with it. I am so proud of you and this huge accomplishment!! In my dreams I’d send you for a week in Tahiti, but unfortunately you’ll have to settle for loud obnoxious cheers & some jazz hands.

P.S. While we’re celebrating with Jess, Mark is currently working on some IV antibiotic therapy.. His timing is somewhat questionable & I’m tempted to start calling him a diva. Ha. Pray for him that the meds work good & fast – it’s not fun to be on IV’s in the summertime!
