I held my niece this week(end) for the first time, and oh my is it addicting! I also swam with her brother (one of my favorite things in the world) and spent time in my garden. Our yard has been neglected in the past few weeks – summer snuck up on us – and the grass reached record length. Pulling weeds and transplanting vines felt all kinds of good yesterday.

That dino shot is so fun! Your weekend sounds so relaxing! We attempted to go car shopping, but you know how that goes (no, if we can’t afford it, we will not buy your car “today”), but we did have a lovely lunch out together and some nice relaxation in the jacuzzi
