I think I’ll let the photos do the talking. Mostly.
It’s finally hot enough for iced coffee. How do you make yours?
Spring is the only time of year I’d even consider wearing bubblegum pink. And I’m still on the fence.
Josh’s students did an urban gardening project this year, and this week we went to the year-end presentation night. How much do you love this poster board, duct tape and all? I was tempted to ask for an autograph..
Let’s take a look at my man (and his students) in action, shall we?
Urban gardening has never looked so good.
Major birthday news: today is Grandma’s 94th birthday! And she has two sisters and three nieces flying in to celebrate (sit on that for a second). Yes, that should do. These flowers were for them.
Also today, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM B! We can’t wait to spend some time celebrating you. Hopefully that means poolside with our shades on and beverages that require mini umbrellas in them. Just a suggestion..
In case it’s not obvious, if you’re looking for me this weekend I’ll be the girl wearing the party hat and blowing the kazoo while watering my garden, cause rumor has it, it’s gonna be hot hot hot!
This is the life.
Happy Memorial Day weekend, Friends! What are your plans?

Iced coffee: I’m not picky just as long as there is some!
I’m on the other side of the fence looking across at that bubble gum pink thinkin’ it looks really good on someone else.
Classy Planet Poster board: Lovin’ that duct tape all to pieces!
The video: A fantastic job your husband has…impacting those young lives in such an amazing way. Very cool. And great video.
Birthdays: Happy Birthday to the birthday girls! And uh… 94 with TWO sisters flying in? There are no words for that.
Our plans? Continue with the crop planting and grounds/yard work so we’re ready in about two weeks to start the first round of knocking the hay down.
Happy weekend!

I loved this comment.
And I don’t even know what “knocking the hay down” is – apparently I could use some good old farm exposure.
But I hope it is going smoothly for you!
Fantastic post in all sorts of ways . Love it!
Thanks! I’m glad you liked it, & glad you stopped by
Love <3 your flower arrangement Suzanne!!!
Thanks, Joan! Coming from you that’s a real compliment.
Funny that we both posted about being on the fence with pink yesterday
That dress looks SO pretty though, and I miss wearing tights! I cold brew coffee over night and I use this method/ratio: http://www.tenpennysplendid.com/2011/08/french-pressed-iced-coffee.html. I LOVE iced coffee! Sounds like you have a wonderful weekend planned- we have tons going on this weekend too and I’m so glad I’m not working so I can go to everything. Happy birthday Grandma!!
